With that said, Iron Banner highlighting a mode that only works on 3 maps was a textbook example of "one step forward, two steps back" when it comes to the map situation. The main reason we even got disjunction added to D2 to begin with was map variety/refresh. As much as I believe in where Rift could go if it got another overhaul that addresses the pain points, I don't have faith in a mode that only works on 3 maps. overextended costs to focus weapons(FFS, I just want loot that's semi-relevant to my tastes, not armor with an exclusive perk that only works for 2 weeks out of the entire season.) As much as I want to keep farming a few Iron Banner weapons, here are the issues, post rework:
